Gender Inclusivity and Natural Niddah

I want to be explicit about this from the get go – Natural Niddah is a gender inclusive project. I’m aware that I am a cisgender woman starting a project that will cover topics such as menstrual cycles, fertility, natural family planning methods, sexual intimacy. Topics like this often get infused with and taken over by trans exclusive language and narratives, and I want to be clear that this space is explicitly trans inclusive.

When referring to historical precedent, there may be times where I use gendered terms such as “man”, “woman”, “husband”, “wife”, etc. When speaking about my current views and when brainstorming rituals, I will take care to speak instead in terms that reflect our whole world (examples could be people who menstruate, people who are capable of pregnancy, etc.) Anyone who wants to participate in the Natural Niddah project is welcome, regardless of their gender.
