Natural Niddah is the personal project of Jennie Couchman, an American Jew living in London. Jennie was inspired to start Natural Niddah when she was trying to learn more about the traditional Jewish practice of niddah, and in particular when coming across the concept of halachic infertility. Natural Niddah is a project that has the goal of reimagining niddah practice for the modern age in a way that centers the natural fertility cycles of people who are interested in starting their own niddah practice. It will combine modern scientific knowledge with ancient Jewish sources, and hopefully arrive at a place where multiple people can find a meaningful ritual that works for them, their spiritual practices, and their bodies’ natural rhythms.
